San Diego Padres' Ha-Sung Kim's timetable for returning from a right shoulder injury remains in doubt.

“He took batting practice today, and he's throwing the ball 75 feet (22.86 meters),” San Diego manager Michael Schilt said ahead of the Padres' home game against the Chicago White Sox at Petco Park in San Diego, California, USA, on Sunday.

A shortstop between second and third base must be able to throw freely at least 100 feet in order to make a smooth throw to first base.

In a ballpark, the distance between each base is 90 feet, and the distance between first and third base is about 127 feet.

San Diego has eight games left in the regular season, not including today's game.

“Kim can hit with full power, 파워볼실시간 but he hasn't been able to increase his throwing strength due to shoulder soreness,” MLB.com reported, ”and it remains uncertain whether he will return before the end of the regular season.”

Kim injured his shoulder while sliding into first base against the Colorado Rockies on March 19 while being thrown out by the opposing pitcher.

On the season, Kim is batting .233 with 11 home runs, 47 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases. He will be eligible for free agency after this season.
